PROTECTOR OF ONE (Silhouette Romantic Suspense #1555), the next book in the Conard County New Generation will be published in April this year, which I guess means many of you will be able to find it in late March. Soon I'll be posting the first chapter of the book. The prologue is already available to registered users on the site.
Please keep in mind these postings from the books are unedited and not in final form. But I sure hope you enjoy them!

Good news, the fourth book of the new Conard County series has been completed and submitted. Tentatively titled THE MAN FROM NOWHERE, you can read a little more about it in the blog. Conard Conard County will be continuing for the foreseeable future. After the first new book in June, there will be another in April, now firmly titled PROTECTOR OF ONE. (Yes, despite having thought the book was firmly titled "Visions of Murder" the title was changed again!) Thereafter, new books will follow in rapid succession, a few months apart.
In PROTECTOR OF ONE, a schoolteacher has a psychic vision of a terrible murder. Unable to shake it, she reports it to the sheriff only to learn that what she has “seen” has actually ha
ppened. Much as she would like to escape them, the visions continue, showing her a new murder… and putting her at risk as the killers threaten her.
Her only hope is the protection of a burnt-out and badly wounded former special investigator for the State of Wyoming. He comes to protect her, but in the end her visions drive her to run from safety toward saving the next victim.
