I have started a proposal for a new Conard County book, tentatively titled THE FINAL MISSION. A female NCIS investigator comes to Conard County to tell a rancher that his medic wife was not killed in a hostile ambush in Iraq as he was told. His wife had also been working as an informant for NCIS, and the agent believes she was murdered. Emotions will run high in this one.
I will have two books coming out in February. The first and most important will be THE MAN FROM NOWHERE, the newest addition to Conard County. You can read about it elsewhere in the blog.
And my second book, SERIOUS RISKS, will also be republished. It's not a Conard County book, but I hope you'll enjoy it. For those of you who haven't read it, it's the story of an FBI agent and a woman who suspects espionage at her job. Updating it has been interesting for me, because I can see how my writing has changed and grown.
The next Conard County book will be published in June, and titled: HER HERO IN HIDING. I'll tell you more about that as the date approaches.
