If it's not one thing, it's another. First the air conditioning--while it was still too hot to work without it -- then the water heater, and now the water softener. I'm looking cross-eyed at my stove, too, because it managed to burn a pizza last week, and the timer on it has given up the ghost. No, I don't think I'm ready for that.
The second Nocturne is moving finally. Had to throw out a hundred pages because something wasn't right, and I couldn't figure out what. So I started all over again, and finally the Muse decided to pay a visit. It's working well, the characters have sprung to life, and even the plot has fallen together. So now I have to reduce it to a synopsis for the editors.
I'm going to contract again for more Conard County books. Hope to have it all settled before Christmas, so I can get to work on THE FINAL MISSION.
Thanksgiving is going to be quiet for us this year since there'll be only four of us. But Christmas promises to bring everyone home, and I'm so looking forward to it. :)
I hope all of you have an absolutely wonderful holiday (if you celebrate it) and a wonderful week regardless.
Hugs,
Rachel
