A plea for civil discourse

The politically motivated violence we have seen of late has me concerned. And while I usually don't get into political discussions, and certainly not here, I still want to call on us all to remember that anger breeds anger, and that perhaps we should let it go. Thunder Mountain

Over the years I've had a lot of people criticize THUNDER MOUNTAIN. Some just plain dislike it, others think it's far from the best of the series. And of course, a certain number loved it.

A comment the other day got me to thinking about the book again, and why it has received such a varied response. But first a bit of history so you'll understand how it came to be written.

Playing catch-up

Well, I'm behind again. On everything. After the RT convention, I got sick with bronchitis. Then I double-timed it trying to catch up on everything and just about the time I got there, my eldest son came to visit. Now I love seeing him. He's a delight to spend time with and I love him dearly. But despite my vow to keep up with work, etc., while he was here, I spent more time having fun than I should have.
